Falcon Teen Leadership Program

Our teen leadership program is a unique opportunity for teens to work directly with NiN Instructor staff, develop leadership skills through mentoring of youth, acquire nature awareness, survival, and martial arts skills, and have tons of fun!

There are three progressive levels to our leadership training program:

Level 1: Introductory training and leading. Teens are oriented to our program, learn introductory skills, play games, assist instructors with activities and help oversee safety. Teens earn first level rank requirements along side students they are assisting. *There is a variable fee for this Level 1 training (depending on the duration of the program they are assisting). Minimum age requirement: 13.

Level 2: Core Routines. Requirement: Teens have assisted with 3 or more youth programs (as described above). Teens understand the basic flow and responsibilities of the program and lead weekly skills and activities. Teens participate in program planning and debrief sessions with lead instructors.  *No cost.

Level 3: Teen Leaders. Requirement: Teens have completed 7 of our curricular modules through either in-person program assisting as described above or through home study curriculum. Teens design and lead activities weekly and participate in planning/debrief with lead instructors. *paid positions based program size/duration and number of curricular modules completed.
